Kinelo Privacy Policy

Kinelo is a product of Uni Industries Inc. ("Kinelo," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you:
- Visit kinelo.com or any of our websites that link to this policy
- Use the Kinelo services, including any desktop or mobile applications we may offer (together with our websites, the "Services")
- Receive marketing or other communications from us, or interact with us at events or in sales conversations
Kinelo and your organization
Kinelo is built for businesses. When an organization (a "Customer") uses Kinelo, we process data from the accounts and systems that Customer connects on the Customer's behalf ("Customer Data"). Customer Data is governed by our agreement with that Customer. If you use Kinelo through your employer or another organization, that organization controls its Kinelo workspace and its own policies apply. It may access, export, or delete data in its workspace, including data associated with your account, and may direct us to do so on its behalf. Please direct questions about Customer Data to that organization. The rest of this policy describes the information we handle for our own purposes.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. Name, email address, company, role, account details, and the contents of messages you send us, for example when you request a demo, sign up for updates, or contact support.
- Information collected automatically. Log data, usage data, device and browser information, IP address, and information collected through cookies and similar technologies that help us operate our websites, remember preferences, and understand usage.
- Customer Data. Content and metadata from tools and accounts a Customer authorizes Kinelo to access, processed to provide the Services.
- Information from other sources. Business contact details we receive from a Customer (for example, when a coworker invites you to a workspace) or from publicly available sources.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, support, and improve the Services
- Communicate with you, including service messages and marketing emails; you can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message
- Understand how the Services are used and develop new features
- Comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect Kinelo, our users, and others
We may also use information for other purposes described at the time of collection or with your consent.
AI and machine learning.Kinelo uses machine learning models to provide the Services. We do not use Customer Data to train generalized AI models without the Customer's explicit permission.
How we share information
We share personal information with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Services, such as cloud hosting, model inference, analytics, communications, and support tools, under agreements that limit their use of the information
- Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and accountants
- Other parties in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or similar corporate transaction
- Others when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Kinelo, our users, or the public
- Others at your direction or with your consent
We do not sell personal information.
Google user data
If you connect a Google account to Kinelo, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing features of the Services. We do not use it for advertising. We do not allow humans to read it except with your permission, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when it has been aggregated and de-identified. We do not transfer it except as needed to provide those features, with your consent, for security or legal reasons, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not use data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models. You can revoke Kinelo's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Security
We maintain a security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, then delete or de-identify it. Customer Data is retained and deleted as described in our agreement with the relevant Customer.
Your choices
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If you have questions or requests about your personal information, including deletion requests, contact us at privacy@kinelo.com and we will respond consistent with applicable law. If your request concerns Customer Data, we may refer it to the relevant Customer and will assist them as needed.
Children
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date, and if the changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or a notice on our website.
